I'm so glad there is a happy ending. I read this the other night right after you posted and had no advice to offer but I couldn't help but worry.

Now we need to see some pictures!

I may be very wrong, but I get the feeling you are not in the USA...do you have a Walmart, KMart type store near you..if so, buy a large RubberMade container...much like an underbed storage box. The pups can not fall or climb out of these containers..even an over sized cat litter pan works well...mom can get in, but pups can not fall out. Put newspaper in one end for them to potty if they want and an small towel in the other end. Best wishes

eveyrthing is fine now. the pups have just started walking. (god help us) they are so funny. playfull happy little pups
