Well like I mentioned when I posted this thread we had one survivor but she was also on her way out. We took her from her mother and handraised her.
She is 9mos and very healthy.
Her name is Matahnay, it's african for "one who steals from death".
So I have come to the conclusion it was something in mom's milk.

could it have been that the mom's milk just was not enough, I had a litter where they were not getting enough from the mother and I had to also tube/bottle feed them in addition to mom's feeding them. She just was not supplying enough for them to grow.

Yes Lilli's was Yellow and Sticky, This is a very scary thing always feel and make sure the belly is not hot you can tell cause it gets very hot, Thanks goodness I caught this in time and they pups where done nursing, But Lilli had so much dang milk it was awful I didnt think she was ever going to dry up, But all is good..

In order to facilitate the mom's milk reduction at weaning you need to restrict fluids severely and food for 24 hours. Also, wrapping the breast will help. And, of course, do not let the puppies nurse except for about 10 mins at night..
