| could it have been that the mom's milk just was not enough, I had a litter where they were not getting enough from the mother and I had to also tube/bottle feed them in addition to mom's feeding them. She just was not supplying enough for them to grow. |

| In order to facilitate the mom's milk reduction at weaning you need to restrict fluids severely and food for 24 hours. Also, wrapping the breast will help. And, of course, do not let the puppies nurse except for about 10 mins at night.. |
