| Hi everyone. Some of you may not know but my Mimi and Prince are expecting babies around Feb. 3. Well, the x-ray today confirmed what we already suspected. THERE ARE SEVEN BABIES. Yes, seven! My mouth dropped and I almost pissed myself. I stayed with my vet for about 40 minutes after hours discussing the preparation for this. There are many factors I have to consider. I just wish you all could REALLY see the x-ray, you can see all seven heads and spines. The baby at the bottom is turned sideways. We will x-ray again on tuesday to see if the little booger's position has changed. So, other than having my nerve pills re-filled, our plans so far are to x-ray again on tuesday and go from there. Mimi weighed 6 1/4 pound at the time she was bred. Today she weighed 9 1/2! I also have to tell you all this: This is the result of one tie and a first time stud. She has had a previous litter that was the result of two ties with a proven stud. I tried several places in the house to take pics of the x-ray, but none would really show up. I'm posting the best one I got. Any idea how I can get a good shot of it? The flash either ruins it or when i turn it off, it's just a dark pic. Oh my goodness...I'm totally amazed at this! Note to self....order more playpens asap. |

February 3. Oh, how I pray they all make it and Mimi comes through with flying colors. Problems can arise with large litters and I'm completely prepared for that if so. I'm working very closely with my vet on this. | |

| Shucks Robbie, That ain't nuthin'....Once had two lab litters at the same time...imagine 15 pups each the size of a full grown yorkie working in concert to bust out of their pen, destroy my dining table and shred paper towel rolls into snow all over the kitchen. Now THAT was an adventure! just tryin to make you feel better, I would be a nervous wreck with a york having seven...best of luck.

| Yorkiemom 1970, With a magnifying glass I see 3 puppies on the left; 3 puppies on the right and a partial skeleton evident on the left side as I face the film. Do their heads look like they can pass thru the pelvis naturally? The little breach one can be manipulated before hard labor sets in but she will need to be dilated some. Guess your vet has already told you all those things.. You have experience, right?? Or a mentor? I am just being curious..Keep in touch, please. P.S. Tape the film up on a glass door when the sun is bright but not shining straight thru the film. Try that with and without the flash.. |

| Wow! How exciting. The x ray is so much fun to see! My Tinkerbell came from a litter of 8. I had never seen so many puppies running around! The mom did get eclampsia and they all had to be bottle fed, what a job her breeder had! |

| wow Feb. 3rd! One of my hated day and one of my best loved day! I lost my nana 2/3/86. It was the toughest time I have ever been through thus far. Then, 5 years later, my first daughter was brought into the world 2/3/91. I hope all goes well with Mimi's delievery and that all 7 (WOW 7?) are all brought into this world with no complications and are all healthy! I will keep Mimi in prayer! You should be resting up. Lord knows your gonna need it with 7 precious new lives coming soon! Good luck to you all.

| Congratulations, Robbie!! I know you are excited ... it's exciting & scarey all at the same time. Tell Mimi not to worry ... she has a good Mom that's going to take care of her! Can't wait to see them in the Nursery! Like Irene said ... your X-ray would be a great way to start their thread .... talk about "first" pictures ... couldn't get much earlier than that!!
