I just went and looked at this site again. I had only seen the male at first. Did you see Matty, Pigtail and Shyla? http://www.snarlsandwags.com/Maltese.html I think they are maltese, that's how bad they look. I am very upset about they way they look. Matty's whole back body is completely STAINED brown! :cry8:  |

I don't know-haven't been reading on there for a log time. I do know that the names on the USDA lists by state have several licenses in different names. I was told that is because they can be up and running without a delay, if their license are revoked or suspended. I know the breeders in this area, especially PA, have many breeds and many dogs of each breed. There is a post on SmallPawsRescue about a mill that they went to for voluntary surrender of several different dogs..mostly Bichons but a couple of other breeds too. It makes for some gut-wrenching reading..And, the miller had just passed their USDA inspection.. |
Did you all read the " We are not a puppy mill" statement...hmmm. |

The USDA thing, really concerns me, because I just found out, that the breeder of one of my dogs, is co-breeding with a breeder on the USDA list. And while I only have pets, I only support reputable breeders. It is my small way of not-supporting millers and BYB's. I feel if all pet owners followed this policy, we'd put those people out of business. I've seen, and read stories in Resuce that make me just hate some people in this world. Sheila |
Very sad...the min pins were the only ones that didn't look terrified! :( |
What bothers me also is that I feel that if a breeder shaves down every single dog they own all the time, like you see on that site, then they obvisously don\'t put alot of their time into taking care of their dogs and must only want ONE thing from them. None of those dogs were groomed and the white one\'s look brown. I know that clipping them down is done by some for reasons such as babies on the way, summer clip, ect. I have done this myself. I just did one of my boys. However , there is a fine line there. I\'m not really all that familiar with usda and their procedures. I don\'t personally know any usda liscensed breeders either. I can only hope that the paws act doesn\'t go through, because for me personally I could not follow usda rules as I feel they are not in the best interest of MY dogs. My friend was telling me recently concerning the paws act, that if it were to pass, and a breeder is already being inspected by the AKC, then usda will not interfere with that. I don\'t know how much truth is in that or if its a fact, but I surely hope so. |
Ok, I just went to the site and came away angry..... shaving the poor little cutie is bad enough, but what was this about "no mate except for a poodle? What are these folks thinking, do you have to breed anything that walks? :thumbdown |
