| Bipolar temps, what gives? My 4 yr old Yorkie is due any day now, this will be her 2nd litter in over a yr. she’s expecting 8 puppies & im a nervous wreck as this will be my 1st large litter... she’s at about 58-60 days today & ive been taking her temps since about 53ish days... she’s been in the mid to high 99’s... then Thursday she dropped to 97, but never went into labor. This weekend she stayed at about mid 99s, until last night when she’s back up to the low 100, high 99... I’m totally confused why her temp is doing that... anyone have ideas of what’s going on?? As of last night she threw up twice & you can tell she’s done, she ready to give birth but her temp just doesn’t drop. This will be my 8th litter in 10 yrs & never seen this, so any help or suggestions would be great.

| Don't you have a mentor to consult especially when you may be having a litter of 8. Did you call your vet and ask them the question you're asking this community.

| She very well might need a csection with that many pups. I would consult a vet or you might end up losing her.
