| ![]() Gee, you'd think with all the publicity, David would have a hard time staying in the business, or would at least have to cut back. How does a guy like that sleep at night? Must have his pillow stuffed with money. ![]() The Inside Edition report said that the website they used to buy their puppy from, and several others connected to it, were no longer operating. Do you know the Lisa Bushman Mallery that won the lawsuit against him? I was just wondering if she's from the Houston area, too. Inside Edition said something about a $350,000 award against David but the Fox report from 2/5 said Lisa was awarded $125,000. Guess that's the media for you. ![]() |

| ![]() Hello. We purchased a westie back in 2004. Our first dog. We could not find a westie breeder in michigan (that we could afford)-that means less then $1500. We tried to go through rescue (like myself) but since we do not have a fenced in yard (sub rules say we can't w/o a pool) we could not adopt a westie w/o a fence! So we had to turn to a breeder. I was 17 years old at the time, and looked for about a year previous for a westie. I came accross BCK-it seemed good. We contacted them through phone, and asked tons of questions (how many times to you breed a female, are your dogs outside/inside/caged, are they tested for genetic soundness..etc..) I had actually bought a book from a web site on everything to ask a breeder. Well, ehen everything came down, and $850 later, we purchased a little 10 week old westie pup. Took him home..nothing wrong..and we have been lucky!! I feel terrible for people who have bought dogs from BCK-and things have gone wrong. I had actually just found all of this out about BCK this evening and can't beleive my eyes! I would never go to a pet store b/c of puppy mills..but i feel bad b/c we were a victum of what sound like backyard breeders. Please don''t attack me...im no breeder lover-i would honestly love to adopt a homeless dog, and thats where my next dog will come from. But, so far we have been lucky with our westie, came home fine, no sickness, no allergies...only a little IBS everynow and then, but thats when we go out for a walk and he gts very excited! ![]() |

| ![]() I am sooo glad your puppy turned out to be fine and healthy. I was one of the unlucky ones that received 2 very sickly puppies. You are very lucky to have gotten one out of that nasty place ok. Best wishes and good luck with him or her. ![]()

| ![]() We are from MN and wound up with an "Irish" Westie. We were told he came from Ireland, etc., etc. Shame on us for trusting these folks (MN nice, you know?). We've always suspected that something wasn't quite right with our beloved friend (sick from the start). Yep, turns out he's one of Dave Moore's pups. Poor thing! We are not certain if we can keep him. He is so anxious (always has been), not sure if he's going to continue tolerating life with a toddler. Anyone have info about Dave Moore in Minnesota? e-mail me at lynn55129@yahoo.com Thanks! Last edited by lynn123; 08-09-2007 at 05:15 AM. |

| ![]() We purchased the MN westie (with "Irish" roots) back in 2003. The seller is from Prior Lake, but Dave Moore is listed on the state transit paper. We still are trying to determine if the seller was aware of Dave Moore's practices. We are suspecting the worst. ![]() Hoping to get our money back; we've had lots of vet bills with this guy. I am sure they've sold lots of "Irish" dogs in MN. Ironically, we attempted to adopt our westie to another couple... they had purchased a "Irish" terrier from the same folks. Turned out the dog had LOTS of behavior issues its whole life. Understandably, they declined adopting our little fella. We are heartbroken. |

| ![]() We too had purchased a westie from this awful place and subsequently have a few horror experiences of our own; however I am just curious if anyone knows what happened to them. I noticed all his websites are down, did this lowlife breeder (as he calls himself) finally call it quits???? |

![]() Then Inside Edition picked it up and did their own undercover investigation -bought a puppy online - and low and behold - the puppy that arrived at Inside Edition WAS sick poor thing and not the dog they bought. So - Hopefully they are out of Business. It's either that or he opened up under a new name Here are all the links if you want to see them - they still work http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-fox-news.html | |

| ![]() Sorry to hear about another abused dog. Our dog is showing more and more signs of anxiety; he's licking/biting his side to the point of bleeding at times and is now urinating in the house. It is so sad! I am hoping we can work through it. FYI - We purchased him 5 years ago this May in MN. |

| ![]() I was just curious if anyone knows whatever became of David Moore and his kennel. Thankfully our dog has fully recovered and now is a healthy, with an attitude and is a big spoiled brat-and he knows it. I live in the Houston area and periodically check to see if this creep has crept back up somewhere else. |
