| ![]() After doing some research on YT (this forum is amazing btw) I found a different breeder in my region and met with her yesterday. She happened to have a male biewer available! I will be bringing him home at the end of the month ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() Yes I do realize this. Also a mix such as the OP can be passed off as a Biewer, including Morkies in general if they have tri color puppies. One must be very care and research any Biewer breeder. Word of mouth is ideal for anyone looking for a reputable Biewer breeder.

| ![]() I would be picking him up a bit after 10 weeks. Is there a reason why 12 weeks? Most websites I've seen for bringing a puppy home say 8, so I thought 10 would be reasonable. |

The reason it it is best to have the baby stay with the momma and litter mates is, momma teaches her babies what is appropriate PLAY biting is, she will correct her puppies if they bite hard, she teaches social skills, you get a calmer puppy. There are many states that allow puppies to be sold at 8 weeks, but for the well being of all puppies it is better for the puppies social skills to stay with the momma and litter mates until they are 13 weeks old. I have had nothing but 8 week old puppies, that was before I knew better, and let me tell you, these kids were WILD indians, I use to call training them "humanizing" them, that's what the momma teaches them when they stay with her for 13 weeks old. I am sure Lovetodream will add more to this and make it clearer why it is best the puppy stays with the momma until 13 weeks old.

| ![]() With small breeds they are still learning from there mom until 12 weeks. They learn bitting, socialization and even sometimes potty training. They are less likely to get hypoglycemia and are a lot more settled. It really is just better for them. They won't be as stressed.
