I've shipped Yorkies, adult and older puppies all over the world without harm to them. I've had some interesting and frustrating scenarios at the airport and with customs, but nothing of great consequence to the dogs. One I have to chuckle about was a couple of years ago with an adult dog coming from Lithuania, via Latvia, to Boston. We had to overcome complications with Customs and I knew he had to be very hungry, so ASAP I took him to McDonald's and bought him a hambuger. He looks at me as if I walk on water ever since! |
I think weather or not dogs are allowed in hospitals, school, etc depends on the state law. I see that everyone in this conversation are in different states. Here in Texas, yes they are allowed however business owners have the final say so. I take my Tessa everywhere even in eating areas, of course she is small and in her purse bag, so I doubt many people even notice plus she's use to it and doesn't bark or make noise. I don't like leaving her by herself. ;) |
