I really couldn't answer that. I brought all of my dogs to the vet the next day and they still ended up being sick ... my little girl Katie even ended up dying. I'm not saying ALL of the dogs Ivan sells are sick ... only the ones I bought and the ones my friends bought are the ones I can speak of with first hand knowledge. But that's enough to SCARE me. I've heard from other people through word of mouth that bought sick dogs from that place too. I hope your dog will be ok. I wish you the best of luck.

Just because he seems healthy now, doesn't mean he doesn't have any congenital diseases or defects...It can take over a year for any of those things to show up. I pray that your baby stays healthy!

I know it's old, but "ceg", I bought a yorkie from the place on 62nd and lex about 14 years ago. I probably just got lucky, but he was the love of my life and was never sick a day in his life. He lived to be 13 and died in what the vet called a "freak" thing. I brought him in for routine treatment and he yelped and died.

i want to buy a yorkie pup & saw your complaint about s&v quality pups.i liked the person i spoke to & he said there are two sides to every story.in reference to yours.he explained that when you & your husband came into his place you didn't want to spend much but wanted a nice dog.the first was your maltese.a year later your dog did experience a leg problem which ivan did tell you even though you weren't under the guarantee period that his vet would have repaired it at no charge but you declined you wanted your own vet. as to the 2 nd puppy you claimed the dog died from a liver problem but be honest to the people on this site tell them what killed your dog.as to your third dog.you were angry that you paid a little bit more.when you took the dog home and the puppy had a little loose stool which sometimes happens even if it was caused by worms which are common your puppy did well.why dont you be honest & tell the people of this site how beautiful your puppy is.i drew my conclusion that you are an angry person with nothing to do.i will buy my puppy from them. p.s. i did my homework & they do breed their own puppies with their family from florida.

Be honest as to what killed my dog? You're joking, right? EVERYONE knows she was hit by a car the day before my mother passed away!! Are you blind? Can you read? amazing how you seem to 'know' so much - and Jen Carlson has never been anything BUT honest here - so please take your BS somewhere else - she's never been angry only hurt at how she was treated AFTER She bought her dogs.

Andy - perhaps you are Ivan from S&V and check here to see how we feel about you. Regardless, most of us avoid pet shops, at least after we've been here for a while. We are against puppy mills, anybody advertising teacups, toys, etc.

It's not a rough one honey. We like our dogs healthy, true to standard, bred and cared for by loving breeders, and not raised in cages.

Did I leave anyrhing out? Probably, but you get my drift.

upon reading your response.i try to get the true facts not fiction.i checked through some treads & there are many happy people that got their pups from them.i guess when you sell a lot of puppies you can't make everyone happy.it seems kind of strange that when someone has a problem with one dog why would you go back for a 2nd or 3rd.years later:rolleyes? it seems you have some connection maybe with a competitor or anger problems that likes to slander a person thats uncalled for .i would be causious that when you slander a business & someone personally there could be some legal recause if they find out

I work for one of the largest law firms in NYC ... so trust me, I know what I can say and what I cannot say. I only speak of MY personal experiences which I have documented proof from my dogs vets. Slander is when you tell LIES ... I'm telling about my first hand experience. Sorry if that offends you but there it is. I find your posts very suspicious. Why aren't you posting anywhere else on this forum? Why are your only first (and few posts) regarding this particular pet store?

It seems like I have "some connection maybe with a competitor"? What? Are you serious? I don't sell puppies and I don't know anyone who sells puppies. That statement makes no sense. I'm a dog owner only, not a seller. I'm a little confused by your post.

If people are happy with their puppies (and those puppies/dogs are HEALTHY), that they purchased from that pet store or any other pet store for that matter, then I'm VERY HAPPY for them. I don't wish a sick dog upon anyone. It's a terrible thing to deal with and not to mention very expensive (between back and forth vet visits, specalists, testing, blood work and treatment/medication, etc.).
