| ![]() Hi All... I am new to this website but am a Yorkie owner. I have a female Stella Bee whom is 57 days pregnant with her second litter and an adorable stud named Elvis. I am here to ask for some advise, I took Stella into the Vet on day 55 and had x rays done and she has 5 puppies which is the same number as her first litter. I have been monitoring her temperature since day 54 counting from her first tie. She started with a temp of 100.2 and has been fluctuating ever since, she ranges between 99.9 and 98.2 which was her last temp today at 7:00. Stella has just been laying around all day and the pups are very active. With Stella Bees first litter she went into labor the same day I took her in to the Vet to see how many pups she was having, because I was not expecting her to go into labor so soon I was not in the room and we lost her first pup he was very big. I am a nervous mom and want to be here for my girl every step of the way I have her whelping box ready, heating pad and all other necessities needed. So, with that being said I am asking other yorkie parents what they think, should I be expecting puppies soon? Her fluctuating temp has me so confused and nervous, our vet said Stella is pretty big and with the development of puppies in x ray she could go in labor any time. Any advice and or thoughts woyld be greatly appreciated. |
