Stardust Yorkies? I was wondering if any of you have any kind of experience with stardust yorkies. I was checking their site and they seem to look like they have very good quality yorkies. |
If I'm not mistaken, there are a few show breeders here that have stardust in their lines. |
I have a Stardust Yorkie. My tiny Kia, is just 7 years old, and weighs 4#s. She has a long full coat, and the prettiest face. Susan Harasim is a wonderful, long-time breeder. Sheila |
I have quite a bit of Stardust in my lines. My boy Puck is sired by Susan's 51st CH Stardust Firecracker 'Jake' that is pictured on her website. Susan Harasim is a long time show breeder in Clarendon Hills, IL and was very gracious and helpful to me. |
My friend Kimberley have 3 Yorkies from Susan Harasim . They are splendid . She will start showing them very soon . |
Myself, I think they are superior. I also Like Pastoral and Pollyanna lines. Cuties with beautfiul qualities. But Stardust is my very favorite. |
She lives in my area, I emailed her when I was looking but never got a response. I have met her and seen her at dog shows and her dogs are beautiful. |

Patti, You'd have better luck just calling Susan. She's very nice. She was wonderful in helping me choose a pup with a personality to get along with my other Yorkie. She really cares about her dogs. Sheila |
Wow, Beautiful Champions. :) |

The father of my New Year's puppies is from Stardust line . |
1 Attachment(s) Here's a picture of Puck....since SOMEONE gave me grief for not posting it before..LOL! I just bred him to a daughter of Stardust's a Poet's Dream, my Cobweb (Sylvan's Starry Night), Chance's sister. Can't wait to see those pups. not a great pic...gotta take some new ones. |
Pretty doggies!!! I didn't get a response from Susan, either. She lives minutes from me. |
Stardust Susan told me one time she does not do any emailing.. So I would give her a call.. I just brought home with me tonight a male that I bought from a friend that is out of two Stardust yorkies from Susan.. We named him "Dylan" his sire is starting to be shown and his grandsires are CH Stardust Firecracker (Jake) and CH Windwood Trouble N' Rivercity (Adam).. I did at one time have another male from Stardust, but I have placed him.. He was the larger size, around 7 lbs, I also did not particular care for his head for showing.. But I love my new Dylan! I have attached some pictures that I took of him this evening.. Melanie |

This might seem silly, what does Stardust mean? Is it a type of Yorkie? |

Thanks for all the compliments on my Dylan.. I am very excited to have Dylan in my home, I have personally NEVER had a yorkie with so much additude! |
Well I guess im on the other end of the spectrum on this subject. I bought a male from Susan last yr. I was very unhappy with what i got. I specified what i was looking for and paid for and got the oppisite! I lost alot of money! I had asked for a male 4-4.5# max told her which dogs others had that i liked and she knew i wanted him for stud i asked for a babydoll face. What i got was more of a terrier look long muzzel male that grew to be almost 7 pds when i placed him at 6 mo old. I never got to see him before i got him i just trusted she would send me what i had paid for. I was not happy at all :( Make shure you see what you are getting jmo |

Wow...I\'m sorry you were disapointed....how old was the pup when you got him? I guess this begs the question...how much can really be determined on the weight and face structure of a small pup? Can breeders really predict with any real accuracy: Genetics can throw a wrench in sometimes. Maybe you would need to get an "Older" pup to get a better idea of how he would actually turn out. Just wondering...maybe some of the breeders here on Yorkie Talk would have some answers... Francie |
