| Bouley's Kennel or another breeder? Hello! I'm new to the site and am looking to adopt my very first Yorkie. I was looking at a breeder on the CKC website, Barbara Bouley of Bouley's Kennel and was wondering if anyone knew anything about her? Or, if there was a reputable breeder that someone could recommend in my area. I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance and am located in Columbia, SC. |

| The continental kennel club will let you register a coffee table as a full breed dog so you really don't know what kind of dog your getting if it is one registered with them. If a breeder is using them then they probably are cutting corners to save money and end the end that will leave you with a sick pup with genetic issues that probably isn't a pure bred yorkie. Check out ytca.org.

| What Lovetodream88 says is no exaggeration. A poster here literally registered her coffee table with the CKC. I wish I was joking, but I'm dead serious. She registered her coffee table as a Great Dane.

| Could the CKC she is referring to be the Canadian Kennel Club? Being that she's in South Carolina, please check out the YTCA Club and check GA, FL, SC & NC for listed breeders. The OP may get some better ideas there on a reputable breeder for the type of pet she would like.

I could always try to breed it to the end table and sell the offspring to cover the cost of fixing it's leg............................ any name suggestions? | |

| Hmmmm .... wouldn't breeding the coffee table to an end table result in a mixed breed? You would have no idea what the end result would be. Will the offspring be the size of the coffee table with legs the length of the end table? Or maybe the size of the end table with legs the height of the coffee table? You could sell it as a "designer" breed!
