YT Addict | visit to breeder to see pups at what age I am purchasing a male puppy yorkie akc from local home breeder. At what age should I expect an invite to the home to see and hold the pups? I chose this breeder because she allows home visits to make the transition home easier. They were born on mother's day and are three weeks old tomorrow. Thanks any suggestions/info most appreciated. At which point or time do I get to choose my pup? |

| Breeders vary. Since I had "visitors" bring parvo into my home years ago, when they came to see puppies, I do not allow people in to see the babies until the babies are 11 weeks old and have 2 vaccinations in them. Of course, my babies do not go to new homes until they are at least 14 weeks old and are fully vaccinated. |
