If she would only let us know how the gal is doing it would ease our minds and we can help her and her baby get through this. By coming here and asking for our help it shows that this person cares enough to want the best for her. Hopefully she will return to this thread to gain more input and helpful suggestion from the calibrated experience of all the breeders here. There is only so much we an do, now it is up to the OP to do what she feels is best for her particular situation and for her baby girl. |
You all are giving the best you can. I pray that the OP is busy taking the advice and is hopefully getting these replies in her email. I turned that off on my settings back in the day but I think it is automatic/default at first. The only other thing I can think of, as to why no response, is because the thread was moved..? Maybe she is having a hard time finding it? (not sure how that works) |

Hello everyone! Sorry about the delay in response! It's been an emotional past 24 hours. First off, thank you for all the advice and concern for both of my babies. My son is feeling much better today and required some much needed "mommy makes it better" cuddle time at bed causing me to fall asleep right with him. Stomach virus ended up being a stomach ache from the sugary treats he had his grandparents and swimmers ear is being treated. He's back at daycare today. My other baby is doing well too. We have three pups waiting to come out, but not just yet. They are both small enough (confirming what her previous owner had said about her last litter) to be delivered naturally at home (agh!) or I can call back when she's showing signs of labor and bring her back in (yes!). At this time, a c-section is not needed. Her last temp recorded beforehand was either incorrect or a dip, because she is resting at 99.4 right now. She has not shown signs of active yet and he reassured me that my paranoia and over analyzing of what she was doing was normal since I had no idea how far along she may be. Because I had to be back in clinic this am, I installed a nannycam like app and have it set up to monitor her at home. My clinic is right around the corner from our neighborhood so I can be there if she goes into labor before I am home. I will be taking her temps in the morning, on my lunch, and evenings. I will report those on here as well so hopefully you will be able to help me know when the time to bring her back in will be. Lastly, today at lunch I noticed a decrease in fetal movement. I know with our pregnancies the closer to the end movement isn't as prominent as before. Is that the case for her or should I be concerned? Also, in response to the emails, yes I did receive them however I had my notifications turned off on my iPhone and did not see them until lunch. I apologize if you thought I wasn't keeping your informed, that was my error. Thank you all again! |
I failed to mention I did get attempt read last night around one or two am when I transitioned from my sons room to mine, but fell back to sleep before I could finish. I received the email alerts and to be honest I should have responded right then at lunch but failed to. I do apologize for keeping everyone on standby like that. I understand how insensitive of me that was. I would love to be home with her right now but I am not able to so I am trying my best to make the right decisions from a slight yet visibly aware distance. |
Good to hear that all is well with both your little ones. Sounds like you are doing very well preparing yourself for having a first time expectant mamma on your hands. Don't hesitate to ask lot of questions we are more than willing to help you along with this stressful situation and with advise on how to raise happy healthy puppies. I would suggest trying to find homes for them now. There is no need to wait and sometimes it can be hard to find good homes for them. |

What would be better is if she weren't even pregnant and it was a false pregnancy or gas! I sure hope that little girl is okay! |
Good luck to you and your little darling please get her spayed so she never needs to go thru this again, she will love you for it. |
Oh thank you for coming back on and letting us know. I was so worried! I sure wish you were home with her or she were at the vet if she's anywhere near delivery but failing that, it looks like she's got the next best thing. Here's hoping and praying nothing will happen until you are home with her and she and those puppies are safe. I'm glad your son is better and your baby okay! |

Yay, you found the thread! I'm sorry your son was feeling so icky. I've had ear aches from swimming before..no fun! Glad he is doing better today. So happy to read this update. I think it is great that you are preparing and you are a nurse! Love that you have the nanny cam set up, too. These ladies won't let you down, so lean on their knowledge to help your lady thru this. :) |
When I came home from work today, both my son and husband said, "Aww the puppies are so cute!! Hurry! Come see them!" Nice try boys, nice try. This was then followed by "Why is the laptop in there?" To quote the ever insightful Gru, "LIGHTBULB!" My girl is currently stretched out on her blanket right now. Temperature was at 99.3 at 6:15pm. Cuddling with her stuffed duck (which she adopted as her own after stealing it from my son's room while unpacking our new home) Feeling more movement than earlier today. I really need to stop being so paranoid! |
OK....last up date 24 hours ago....any babies yet? |
No babies yet. Temp hovering around 99.1. Appetite seems to be decreasing as well. I never experienced full term pregnancy myself, having delivered two months early, so I assume this is the crazy waiting game part everyone has always complained about in the end. |
