Speaking specifically to the statements above that are bolded/red. Yes, there ARE mean members here at YT, but you haven't encountered any of them yet. The members that you consider "mean" are simply giving their passionate opinions about a very touchy subject. Some members are just more eloquent with their posting than others .

Most YT members are here because we share a passion about our yorkies and the well being of all yorkies in general. When we see what we clearly consider poor breeding practices, we get our hackles up. I honestly believe that there are a few good breeders who choose not to prove their bitches and sires by showing/championing, but very few. The vast majority of breeders - and here I am speaking of AKC breeders - don't circumvent the established methodoligy in determining the breeding quality of their sires and dams. In plain talk, their sires an dams have proven themselves in the show rings and by rigorous medical testing.

I don't really think anyone wants you to leave, but what we do want is to help educate you on what is a logical, methodical, time proven technique to determine quality sires and dams. It is very frustrating to those of us who have resided at YT for many years to tackle this touchy subject day in and day out in our endeavors to promote the betterment of the breed.

I would strongly encourage you to change your host site. It is not compatible at all with handheld devices and a majority of the public have these to look online.

On my phone and ipad, the only thing available is a too-long paragraph, some pictures at the bottom, and a couple at the beginning.

Finally I got to look at your website with the clue to re-size my screen.

First your health guarantee is worthless. Why would I as an owner want to purchase another pup from you, if after you force me to the expense of a necropsy to determine cause of death from a genetic defect want another puppy of yours? And necropsies are not cheap at all.

The term of the guarantee is laughable, but with-in what I see out there. Many defects occur later on in life, including PRA and cataracts to name just a few.

This guarantee is very much slanted to the breeder not the purchaser.


Now let us take a look at your breeding dams n studs.

Where is the listing of their CHIC numbers? The health tests you performed on your breeding dogs?

None of your breeding stock is of particular merit; of course you only post face pictures. Which is the only thing I have to judge on.

Where is the Championship titles and working title listed?

What organizations are you a member of, and how have you contributed to the breed as a breeder?

My puppies are more than spoiled. They take up most of my time and I love brushing them making them pretty. I play with them on a regular basis. Buy them lots of toys and new things all the time.
Your right I have not done a lot of testing on our adult breeders. It cost a lot of money. I have done some though. It takes money to do the test and I was hoping to get this done asap...go ahead tell me how stupid that is. I have looked at the list of breeders that have done this. The list is quite short compared to the amount of people breeding. Not saying it's right just stating facts. I'm sure we would all do it if it were less expensive.
As much as I love the breed, according to the comments ( which some are down write lies) others didn't look at the wed site or didn't know how to navigate. Almost all the information that posters said wasn't there. is there.

I absolutely positively do not have you mixed up with anybody. I am always careful about what I post and I only post regarding pups, I don't enjoy these posts either, it bothers me but I will do what I have to for the sake of the pups...... I will say this you absolutely did remove ads, posts, and remove terminology from your facebook.

Also, slander? I've never said a word about you. The only way you can sue for slander is if your reporting the income from every single one of the pups you have sold to the IRS? Are you? Also A "slanderous" statement must be false, otherwise it's not considered damaging. Even terribly mean and disparaging things are not defamatory if the shoe fits. Most Opinions don't count as slander because they can't be proven to be objectively false. Example, when a someone says, "That is the worst breeder I've ever seen" she's not defaming the breeder, because the statement can't be proven to be false, Its their opinion.

The only ones who should win are the Yorkies. We have many very experienced breeders who would be more than happy to (and have already) given great suggestions as to breeding a top quality healthy yorkie. I don't doubt that you love your yorkies, take care of them, buy them toys, etc. Most, if not ALL YT members do that. We take care of our furkids to the very best of our ability.

Where we diverge is in our philosophy towards breeding. It certainly should be the goal of all breeders to work towards bettering their chosen breed, not to breed what they can afford, can get their hands on, etc. This takes time, study and a lot of $$. I can tell you from learning from some of the best Yorkie breeders in the country - you will be embraced IF you stop, look and listen to those who have spent a lifetime learning the "right" way to develop a breeding program. Then you can go on and become the type of breeder that would never have a problem selling pups - because people would be knocking your doors down to reserve one.

You show me where and when I have sold a Yorkie before it wasn't old enough or any TEACUP Yorkie? Never happened. I even say on my web page "we do not breed Teacup Yorkies. The smallest Yorkie I have ever whelped is now a 5 lbs. adult. Almost all my Yorkie are 4.0 oz.
I have edited my face book page when a mistake was found. Also changed the weight on my web page because I wrote down a weight as 4 1/4 instead of 4. 14 oz. is this what you are referring too? I'm human, mistakes are bound to be made. That does not mead I'm a bad breeder.
I haven't sold enough puppies to report anything to the IRS..I have over $4500. into my breeding program and have a couple thousand that I put into supplies and vet bills. How bout you??
