Holy Mollie.... 6 babies from a 5lbs Dam, I bet she was Huge and those babies must of been tiny. Ruby's weight before pregnancy was 8 and now shes 11lbs.

Update:

No change, temp at 11am was 100.5*

I take her temp ever 4 hrs and will check back before the end of the night. Tomorrow is her due date I just pray she not go over. I dont want her to have to struggle whelping larger pups.

Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. They are very much appreciated !

She looked like Ruby! The only position she could get in where she could be comfortable, was on her back, just like that one pic of Ruby! The babies were all good sized, right at 3 oz....and all did well....no section needed.......but that was the largest litter I have ever had!

She is still holding strong at the 99* range. She is due today, Im headed to bed and will check in with you all in the morning.

Thats good to hear... thats all any of us can hope for. Happy, healty mamma & pups and that they go to wonderful forever homes with great families!

Update: Today is day 65 and Ruby was at 98.7 this morning at 10am

These last few days have gone so slow. She is very umcomfortable, she's staying close and Im keeping my eye on her every move.

Her last temp at 2pm was 99.8

No progress and not quit overdue yet, we are at day 66. Temp is staying steady at right around 98.5 - 100.5 I just got off the phone with our vet. She says all is good at the moment as long as she is not showing any signs of labor or destress. If she gets to day 70 and still nothing to take her in.

We are keeping her calm and keeping a close eye on her.

Temp is 99.9 as of 10 am

I am sorry.... as large as she is, I would be getting xrays, checking on positions and sizes of babies....absolutely no harm in getting xrays so you can see what you have!!!.....I just like being absolutely certain what I am working with.....every day those babies are in there, they are growing.....!
