Yea, be ready for an awesome experience ! . Read anything and everything to prepare yourself in order to provide the proper care of your girl and unborn pups before during and after birth. . In her 6th - 9th week and until the pups are weaned you should be feeding her a calcium right diet. The puppy version of whatever food she is eating now. Including can puppy food. . Have your vet and emerg. vet # on hand . Start putting money back for an emergancy, tail docking, dew claw removal and vet bills. . Get your supplies ready and start saving news papers. You can pick up old bedding, towels, baby blankets and rugs at garage sales and thrift stores. You'll need lots of them. . Figure out where she will be having & raising the pups for at least an 10-12 week period. Look here for helpful info: Breeder Talk - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community Read old thread with simular situations. Start your own thread for more advise as needed. 2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Update on Ruby w/ pics Ruby is doing very well, she's been quit clingy as expected. She is getting huge with every day that passes. We'll be setting up the whelping box this weekend so that she can get use to it. Plus we are waiting on a shipment of nutrical. Photo #1 I have no idea how she can be comfortable laying like that. Photo #2 Just chillin in one of her favorite places.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Love the pictures. My Lexi laid like that a lot when she was pregnant. Of course she had a tummy full seven pups. She is beautiful. Look forward to seeing the pups and praying it is a easy delivery for all. Keep us updated

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | We're getting close !! We have less than a week to go. We have everything set up and are ready to go. I set up the new whelping box/container that I thought would be nice. Im not sure Ruby is as excited about it as I was, so it may have to go. Maybe once she gets closer to whelping she will try it out and like it.

| Do you know how many pups she's having? I've seen others have xrays so was wondering if Ruby had an xray. Exciting times!

No sorry I don not. I didn't have the xray done this time. From my prior experience, seeing the size and position of her belly my guess would be 4 possibly even 5 pups. We'll know soon enough !

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Wow.......just look at the difference in the belly pictures from the first post and the one you posted the other day. What a difference a couple of weeks make! It is amazing how quickly those babies grow. They will be here before you know it! Hoping to be experiencing the same excitement with my Hannah in 8-9 weeks. We bred her a week or so ago...........

We are at day 62 and I am concernd about her milk line, maybe one of the senior breeders could help me with some advise, Please. Question: Her milk line in only up to three tits and I wonder if it would help to up her calcium intake or if there is anything else that I can do to increase the production? I've been giving her two meal a day. Dry & Can puppy food just over 1/4 C

| I also use xrays to determine position and size of babies...using calipers to measure pelvic ring...that way I know for sure no one is transverse and holding the show up, especially with a large number of babies...and I know if everyone will be able to fit thru the pelvic ring, or if we are going to have problems.... |
