I was sitting on the couch watching tv and realized Trixie wasn't on the couch anymore. I looked over and she was scratching up a storm in her wheeling box. I tried not to make eye contact with her, hoping she would just do her thing lol. I got up and went to the bathroom and of course she followed me. S I took her temp and its 97.3. I'm going to make a pallet by her whelping box and just lay to let her know its ok. I think if I do that we will probably have puppies tomorrow!

Puppy #1 is here. It's a boy. He wasn't in his sac and it took about 5 minutes of me rubbing him with a towel before he started crying. Hes doing good now.

ok after a VERY eventful night I have 3 healthy babies! 2 girls and 1 boy. in between pup #2 and pup #3 my hot water heater busted and the valves were stuck and i couldn't turn it off so it flooded my whole house. the main water had to be turned off and i now have repairmen tearing my carpet up and installing a new hot water heater During all this madness pup #3 was born! Trixie did amazing! I was waiting for all the signs like I had read, but she didn't have any except for the temp drop to 97 right before she and I went to bed last night. There was no panting or crying. She was so calm and brave. This was such a wonderful experience. Thank you all for the words of encouragment and for all the advice! You truly have no idea how much your support and wisdom help others!
