No Longer a Member | New Pregnant Yorkie or thats what the ad said!!! Ok I ran across an ad for Pregnant Yorkie for sale, My father breed show dogs and I loved helping him so I decided to look more into this ad, well me and this woman went back and fourth for almost 2 weeks when I felt I was confortable I even schedule a csection because Ms. Errica Allen(The lady I got her from) from Livingston, TN said she tied April 1st once a day for a week. So when I decided to go get her last Thursday, I went ahead and set up an appt with my Vet for Friday, Well anyway I drove 5 hours and when I walked in and seen this dog I was like no way she pregnant no way at all she was so skinny and of coarse this lady is saying she is she don't even look like she has milk, but I was like I didn't want to get her because she really looked sick well this lady bulldog comes into the room and her and the Yorkie goes at I mean really fighting, it scared me and I was ready to go but I knew I could not leave her there so I went ahead and got her she was covered with flea's as I notice on the way home so once we made it home I took her a nice bath picked every flea I could find off her and went vaccuum my carpet with flea/tick killer carpet freshner. Well we got up and went to the vet he said her uterus was not larger or swollen enough to be that far along so he didnt think she was pregnant and it was a way for her to sell the dog. Well she did have tape worms so he treated that and since then she been eating and looks like a new dog already, but I see her licking her vulva, and also her nipples poke out a little more and she sleeps alot and also she is really putting in weight and fast I just don't wanna come home to puppies unexpectedly, I have pic I took but cant upload them here but I can send through email but I also call Cookeville Humane Society on this lady also. But if someone could give me some advice of what they think and look at the pic to see if they think she pregnant if she is she would be 6-7 weeks and do not look pregnant at all. I have always had the same vet that my father use so he is an older guy and basically told me a xray would be a waste because either she is not pregnant and the woman used that as a way to sell her or she is early on because her uterus is not the size of 6-7 week pregnant dog. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks |

| I'm sorry but it's late and using the return key would be very beneficial. It's late and many of us are older and the separation helps a lot.

| ultra sound? why not get an ultra sound? that way you will know for sure if she is pregnant or not. you may or may not get an accurate puppy count but you will know for sure if pg or not. |

No Longer a Member | I ask my vet for one he told me to stop being impatient and wait, so I took his advice since he said she her uterus wasn't big enough, but she spends a good amount of time licking her vulva so I guess I will continue to keep an close eye on her. Thanks |
