♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() I tried the finger nail polish once. And I had a pup react to it. It was fine but never again. I bought little collars. But was afraid to use them. I could go by weight for along while. And it was nail polish I for from a groomer that was safe for dogs. Lexi always ate a little food I got from the vet between pups and drank a little warm milk.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() I was told by another breeder that was how she did it. So thought nothing of it. Scared me so bad. I bought the fleece collars also.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() I tried a few things, like yarn and the paper collars, but mama always manage to remove some, then I found the fleece ones and they worked so well, that is all I use now and all I recomend. hugs, |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() Great news, are all 4 placentas out too? after mama settles down later tonight, get some warm water and a clean damp wash cloth and clean her up, starting from her neck down specially her tits and privates, she will enjoy getting rid of the stickyness of the whelping process, I know my girls usually just lay with the puppies after I clean them like saying oh, now I can relax.. ![]() hugs, |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() here you go I cut them thin and longer that I need once I tie them to the pup I cut the excess, fleece streches so if she licks the fleece will stretch. i always make sure that I can fit my finger between the fleece marker and the pup, that is the right spacing. and I do change them as soon as I can't fit my finger comfortably in between. here' a picture of my last litter wearing them. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...3/IMG_0322.jpg |

| ![]() She is still experiencing contractions. I listened for another pup but having no luck finding a heartbeat. she feels pretty empty, although i do feel one thing dead center if i lay her on her back.. honestly it COULD be a pup..or an underdeveloped one..something of that sort?? maybe im just feeling an organ?? its such a sudden change in her body i just dont know.. but why the contractions? not really frequent but definite contractions

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() give her vanilla ice cream it can be another pup that was way up in the horn, she needs a boost of calcium right now..do you have red rabsberry leaf tea? or someone that can run to the store and buy it, it is great to clean your girl and help in situations like this. | ![]() The uterus is usually hard and sometimes feels like another puppy. I have been mistaken with that before. I usually start massaging and see if I can get it to move and if not, it probably is the uterus. I have taken them in before to make sure though.
