| Curious...how many times? I am curious and have a question for all of the breeders. How many times do you breed your female before retiring her or having her spayed? Just curious... |

| Depends on the female. I just retired one that had 2 litters but was bred 5 times. I retired her right before she turned 4 yrs because she had a tough time conceiving although she loved being a mom. Normal conditions, I feel retiring by 5 yrs, 6 yrs the oldest is how I'll do it. Depending on the female of course. Some females I breed on their 2nd heat, others not till their 3rd. Irene |
