Normal conditions, I feel retiring by 5 yrs, 6 yrs the oldest is how I'll do it. Depending on the female of course. Some females I breed on their 2nd heat, others not till their 3rd.

I am with Irene on breeding females. Each female should be treated as their own individuals and determine how they should be breed. Some females just are not good breeders. Then, I have been known not to breed, because the right male isn't available.
