| Yorkie Talker | mom sometimes cleans behinds but lately I've found a couple of little presents as well!!! never thought about trimming their behinds but will definitely do so. yesterday I kinda freaked because I put a little extra canned Blue puppy chow into their formula. I had already begun putting a tiny amount into the 20-22 ounces I make at one time. they came up to the bowl, ate for about 30 seconds then started backing away. I'd offer it to them & they'd refuse, then they completely passed out for about 30 minutes. I waited around for them to wake up, got them to latch onto mom, let them nurse, saw that they were playful, and then went to work .... late! my friend suggested that it was because they might have gotten full immediately. I was thinking it was too much of a change on their digestive system.... I'd read about grinding up the kibble and setting out and I really like that idea. thank you so much for taking the time to answer all of my questions & make suggestions. will definitely get a play pen this weekend. |
