| Confused This is my first post on this site so bare with me! My 3year old yorkie first tied on Jan 1st. She is showing all the right signs of pregnancy.. Swollen teets, big belly. Friday I brought her into the vet to get an X-ray of the pups. First he felt her and said he believes 2 pups were inside her. Then he showed me the nipples were secreting milk. He said she might give birth in 7 days. Her temp was only 96 degrees Fahrenheit but the doctor didn't seem concerned. So after the X-ray he looked at it and couldn't see any spines or heads. He took another scan and the same. He doesn't know If he sees what could be a puppy or seeing what he wants to see. I am bringing her in for an ultra sound tomorrow. Is it possible the pups can be hiding somewhere or something? False pregnancy I read only last 2-3 weeks and she never had a false pregnancy before. Has anyone ever had something like this happen or pups not show up on an X-ray??? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you! |

| Sometimes a pup might not show on x-ray but only when other pups are hiding it. You should def be able to see spines & skulls on x-ray. No matter what you read, not every dog is textbook. |
