Donating YT 4000 Club Member | My favorite supplier is Revival Animal Supply, I love their fast and great service. I don't know if they ship to Canada. I made my whelping box with a Rubber maid container I love it because I can bleach it before and after each use. Here's a couple of pictures of my setup.. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...2/IMG_8681.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture109.jpg http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture160.jpg |

| I get most of my supplies from Revival Animal Health. I don't know if they ship to Canada or not.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Here are a couple sites that will be helpful. Canine Reproduction Video and Book on Breeding and Whelping dogs by Debbie Jensen for dog breeders and Whelping Supplies needed to deliver puppies. eBay Guides - Don't Buy Whelping Kits Make Your Own I didn't purchase a kit, I purchase all of my supplies at local stores. I made my own whelping box. ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting I am going to try a new pre fab plastic ben with a lid with our next litter, that I bought for under 20.00. It has a pre cut opening in front. Typically used for recycling. You can purchase them at any hardware or home improvment store. ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

| I also get most of my whelping supplies from revivial. My hubby made my whelping box for me. Myra Savant Harris has a website and I have gotten a few things from her as well. |

| I like Dr. Foster and Smith website for whelping supplies. For a whelping box I use Maddie's kennel and just take the top off. Since it's a place she's used to it seems to keep her calm. I've also heard of people using plastic kiddie pools. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I go along with the majority: Revivial for supplies; Myra Savant Harris for many supplies as well as her books. Also Muriel Lee's books on whelping available from Amazon. I re-read Muriel Lee's book before each whelping as well as Myra's book's before each whelping. Also I have my girl ultra sounded at 4 weeks and xrayed at 59 days. I have my vet's private number to call if we forsee any problems. The car is packed for an emergency trip to the vet's. Good luck. And maybe having a YT on the line to chat with while you are whelping always helps. |
