| Thanks, I haven't had a chance to take pics yet, still pretty worried about the little girl. She still is not latching on to mom, I have been feeding her myself and she does eat, but I am very worried as I have had this happen before with not good results. So any encouragement would be welcome. My vets just say to bottle feed and keep her warm. Good news is baby boy is doing fine, sucking away mightily! |

| ♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thanks for the update. I was wondering all night how they where doing. Many people bottle feed and the pups do okay. Is mom at least licking and cleaning her? She needs that stimulation I would try each time before you feed her to get her to nurse. I sure hope she catches on.

| when my dog had pups in march the smallest one was just under 2oz i used to open pups mouth and put her on the teat nearest to the back legs these seemed to be the fullest ones then held her on for a few minutes i used to touch the mums tummy to move it slightly to encourage the pup to suckle it worked for us but we was putting the pup on every two hours good luck hope everything goes well |

| Just to update, we did lose the little girl, vet thinks she probably had congential defect as she just went down so quickly, plus it was a very difficult birth, she was stuck in there too long. Good news is the little boy is thriving, he has gained weight already. and yes, I do have heating pad, believe me, I tried everything I could to save her. Very depressed over it, no more puppies for me, I can't do this again. |

| I'm so sorry to hear you lost the little girl, it can be hard when we decide to breed. I too lost a little girl about a week ago and ended up spaying my female and now have two little boys who are doing very well. Again I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

| LOL... Yeah I've ended up keeping a couple over the years that I maybe shouldn't have but hey, thats alright too. The reason I had her spayed was because we ended up doing an emergency c section due to a twisted uterus and I just thought it would be the best for her.

| He looks to be a healthy little boy and I love that tiny little ear... so small and pointed. Can I make a suggestion? I would take a clipper and shave Jewels tummy area, this would make suckling alittle easier for the little one. I'm looking forward to watching him grow up, again Congratulations!
