Well everyone I am back, even after I had some ppl tell me to give my dog an abortion or I was not a smart breeder, and many many more comments that I didnt care for. But just wanted to let everyone know that my yorkie had a successul Whelp, she gave birth to two beautiful puppies on April 16th, she had a boy and girl. Mommies and puppies are doing well, they have both been to the vet to get checked and have also had there tails docked and declawed.

I would like to say to all the YT newbies, that you are gonna get some ppl on here that beat you up because we are all able to give our input, but please keep reading because there are ppl on here that are welling to help and give you good info.

I want to thank everyone who helped me and continued to reach out to me even when I wasn't happy with the comments.

I do not remember seeing your previous threads, so I don't know the situation at all. But I will say this type of response...

is immature and not indicative of the type of person who should be breeding Yorkies.

Apparently you got some responses you didn't like- people telling you to abort the litter- whether they were right or not (like I said I have no idea) to come back and say "haha I had a healthy litter" is totally out of line... you are encouraging people to engage in poor breeding practices because the end result may be okay. But it also might not be- there is another thread on here right now, where an irresponsible breeder brought a litter into the world and now one of the little yorkies already died. So that is the other outcome that can be had.

I do hope you have been reading up on raising puppies, and the proper age (12 weeks) for these babies to go to their new homes.

So glad you hung in there! I know we have chatted on the side...but again, CONGRATS!!!

....and I totally agree! Please, please dont breed your baby again. Love her and the puppies...and be so happy they are healthy.

I really wish you would of seen the posting i got before you chose to post you comments. Because it was pretty bad, very bad at that. Very few came to give additional information. The point I was tryin to make is if I am asking for information dont come and beat me up, help a person out because at this time its to late to say anything because my dog was already prego.

So please re-read my posting and believe me I wasn't throwing anything back in anyone face. If that is how u feel then that is your opinion and there is another person I may not need to speak to on YT.

Please believe me i was worried to death that something might of happened, but there was maybe only 2 or 3 ppl who were willing to help me out when I asked question the rest wanted to tell me I as not responsible and I am just doing it for fun, or what were you thinking

So please find my other posting and read them before you responds.

I am also aware of the lady who lost one of her puppies and have been speaking to her on the side.

Even if every single person said you are a terrible person, abort the litter- it still wouldn't warrant the "haha in your face" response that was provided by you. I would think someone who just had a healthy litter would want to respond with :) not :rolleyes::cool::p

those little faces that I put on the end of posting didnt have anything to do with HaHa back in your face. I put those because I liked the way they looked. WAS NOT A HAHA BACK IN YOUR FACE!!!!!! I was simply telling everyone I had a healthly whelp, because I had some ppl ask how my dog was doing so I figured it was time to share and the pups were healthy!!!!!!! you have once again taken my comment the wrong way which seems to happen a lot on this YT!!!!!! :)

Happy to hear of a good whelp. Also happy to hear that you got good free advice that was useful to you. Also looked at that thread and apart from one "spay" now comment, most were supportive of your "breeding".

Now it's "just" the raising and rearing of the litter. Insuring that your pups are healthy, screening prospective adopters, and offering a meaningful health guarantee so that you insure your puppy owners have healthy and well adjustment pups free from genetic defects over their lifetime.

Yes raising them is another big job and making sure they go to a very good home, which I am working on now. I will be getting my yorkie fixed on the 17th of June as well. This was a good experience, but not one that I would like to continue to do. :)

What a great reply, I loved that you point out genetic defects; too many breeders/pet owners believe their responsibility ends at the whelp.

Thank you for returning to YT after all you had to endure from the community and giving us an update. I know how hard that had to be considering how some people responded to your original . post.


Please keep up the great work you are doing with Journee and the pups, you are doing a great job. Just remember there is still a long road ahead. We will chat about that later, I'm sure.

As far as your up date post.... I am having a hard time finding the "In your Face" part about it. I'm totaly confused... :confused:

But whatever.... Opinions are just that and nothing else. You all can write whatever your little hearts desires no matter how harsh. That dont make you or your opinion of the OP or Newbies right! In any way shape or form.... it just makes you a voice for your passions and views and some times I just wish people like you would think twice before commenting on a thread when someone comes to YT for our HELP!

:( Very sad to think of how many people have left this forum empty handed with No Help and no where else to turn to ..Because of people like you who feel that they have a right to voice there opinions no matter what the consiquinced are.

You all are so in your face.... about what you feel is right and forget that there are precious lives of a mother and pups involved. and in my mind that takes precedence over your opinion any day!!

I see a different perspective; I see how many of our fine breeders have left or are seriously considering leaving because of posts such as yours and the OP's. Why not just thank people instead of criticizing anyone posts? Otherwise, the thank you is really a jab, not a genuine thank you. Believe me, we aren't the ones who are forgetting the precious lives of the mother and pups.

There is a Big difference when someone come here to get the HELP they Need. Between an Experienced Breeders comment and just the regular Jo who is passionate about the situation and wants to express it by commenting on the thread. No matter what the situation or how the OP find themselves in the situation of a pregnancy or whatever else.

I find it hard to believe that a breeder would turn their back on someone in that situation. I may not be the best of the best but that is the reason why I reached out to the OP in the first place. I saw how some people Not Everyone, in a sense attacked her. She was in a difficult situation and needed OUR HelP.

There is a place and time for everything and that was not the right time!

If you speaking about the ONE reply to get an emergency spay, a pet owner not a breeder wrote this, and it was written TO what she thought was a pet owner not a breeder. Personally, as a pet owner, I would love to know of that option, if I had a pet that was pregnant. Many dogs are lost during whelping and I wouldn't take the chance with my beloved dog. Hearing different options is helpful, even if you don't agree with them.

Most of the breeders haven't turned their backs until they were beated senseless. Again, to me, it seems like some of you want to slap yourselves on the back, and beat others up because you didn't like their imput.

First off, most of what you said didn't even have anything to do with what I said. My pointing out that her tone was rude and immature has nothing to do with whether she gets help- she sure as heck didn't ask for any help in this thread. I doubt she wants help. So you can say all these people have left the forum because of me- but you have no idea. Get a clue. seriously.

And no one posts emoticons just because they like them, they are in response to their feelings.

Imagine if someone posted that their dog died and I wrote- "Aww :D " as my response. I would EXPECT them to be livid.

So by saying- "even though people said not to, I had puppies, all is well, :rolleyes::cool::p " - that IS meant to say "in your face".

If you are a breeder or decided to breed for the heck of it, you should get yourself a real life mentor and know what to do PRIOR to breeding.

The breeder or members of YT do not owe you anything.

I am sick of hearing people complain and post nonesense as if the people on here OWED them to help them with their problems. If people chose not to help then so be it. No one should feel obligated or made to feel they are bad for not doing so.

Your mess, you fix it. If you ask for advice, expect good and bad. If you dont like it hire someone or find yourself real life help in your area.

Really, the nerve of some folks. Then come in here being martyr marys. Eat some humble pie and move on.

I remember your last thread and that one poster telling you to emergency spay was out of line and responded to that as well. She made a mistake and owned up to it. Unfortunately, if the argument here is whether you came on here now to say "in your face" or not......... the emoticons give it away.

No one not even the single poster who recommended a spay; attacked her. Everyone is able to post comments, suggestions, advice, on any thread anywhere in this forum.

Well according to your join date you have only been a member for 4mths; not enough time to see the types, nature, and repetitiveness of certain kinds of posts.

And any member of this group(YT), is free to contribute or not, as their time an inclination allows for. Oh yes that includes our breeder members here. Just because you are a breeder does not automatically mean you have to contribute on the multiple threads over time of "oops" pregnacies, oh dear my Lulu got pregnant, just want one litter, don't know anything about anything but I bred her and she is pregnant.

I value our breeder members, for their commitment and passion and willingness to be here, to contribute, to help those new to the world of Yorkies. I have learnt much from them. And YT would be much poorer without their very valuable contributions.

I also value our many members who are a part of rescue; who lay their emotions, their time, and their money on the line, to often times rescue pups and breeding sires/dams, from those oh so innocent "first" time breeders.

I value many members here, who post on the sick and emergency thread, to share their experiences, to help guide a poster to the appropriate health care, to look up emergency hospitals in their area, to pray for the sick and injured who btw are often sick from genetic defects, of those OOPsy pregnancies or I just wanted Molly to experience childbirth kind of breeders.

For those types of breeders I have no time for. Invest your time, energy and money to learn about the breed prior to breeding. Don't expect me to or anyone else here to hold your hand through your mistakes.

I agree with Mardelin - great post. No one owes the OP anything and love the Martyr phrase, Jesse_RN2B. In my humble opinion the breeder section does not need someone from the polite police rapping everyone on their knuckles. Geez.

The true intentions of the OP are evident. Everyone has had to say what needed to be said.
