I think we all have a pretty clear understanding of what the emoticons mean. There's no question in my mind of your intent here. You wanted to stir the pot and you did. Congratulations! Best of luck with your new pups. |
So at the end of the day everyone has said what they had to say and apparently everyone thinks because I put the emotions next to my comment it means in your face. Which is completely wrong, if that is the way anyone took it please except my apologizes. I just like to put emoition next to most of my posting and it is what it is... But please understand this, I will still be using emoition icons and if you are not sure what i meant by them feel free to ask:cool:;) Once again thanks for everyone input!!!! |

Everyone is glad that your girl and the pups are fine.....but, that doesn't mean because everything went fine, they condone the pregnancy or the risk you took by allowing it to happen. |
Congratulation on your new puppies and that your mom was able to deliver healthy puppies. I would like to invite you to read this thread and the heartache that you could have faced but were lucky enough not to experience. We are not a bunch of mean witches looking for a fight. We are collectively very passionate about the breed that we love. Most of us would never consider taking the risk to allow a whelping of our girls. We firmly believe that breeding should be left to those that have experience and not something that should be done on a whim. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...th-no-vet.html I'm glad the you have decided to spay your girl. It's probably the best choice you have made so far. |

I am glad your little girl is ok. You were lucky. I think many members did try to help you... it just wasn't the advice you wanted so you got upset. I agree... the spay comment was a little harsh and in error, but I agree in some cases it would be the best option. I do think you are not seeing what this group is about.. they are great people and very honest. If you can't deal with this group don't come on to stir up trouble. If you didn't mean anything by the faces... you could have said sorry I didn't mean anything, now I know how they appeared. simple but getting all defensive makes you look bad.. immature |

Don't breed without a mentor....and don't come onto a forum to get the answers that you want to hear. The Martyr Mary meaning the OP came on and had an in your face attitude and when she was called on it....all of a sudden she played the victom, didn't know the what the symbols she used meant.... |

I actually did apologize and explain that was not my intent. And you are right sometimes you dont agree with posting and we should take a step back b4 we respond... |

I do understand that i was lucky and there could of been complications and I am very thankful that it didnt happen. |
I have no idea if I responded to your orginial thread...but my advise is always the same..do what is best for the bitch and not human emotions. The worst situations have a way of turning out well...the best of situations have a way of going wrong.. If you believe in God..thank Him over and over... It is all a gamble...sometimes you win and sometimes you lose...the only thing I ever pat myself on the back about is...I try to do what is best for my dogs...at the end of the day I have no regrets... Best wishes...you brought these pups into the world and are responsible for them until their death...even if you sell them. |

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ll-doubts.html I'm glad that the whelp was successful and that you know you have your hands full over the next 12 weeks. Be sure to research all prospective buyers of your puppies and ensure that you stay in contact just in case your pups are carrying defects. Try to sell on spay/neuter contracts, though if they don't have papers I don't know how you can enforce that. Are you planning on getting your male neutered as well? |

Apologized... really???? Well may be that is the problem here... if you said f*** y** and someone said to you that is rude would you respond.. "oh I did not mean f*** y** but I like saying f*** y** so deal with it" and think that was apologizing???? I mean you NO HARM and i am TRULY glad all worked out well.... but I hope you really look at what people are saying to you and not get so defensive. This is a life lesson that goes beyond the puppy.. it is how you deal with people. I hope you gain from this and not just get mad. Good luck |

When the poster first posted here in March, she was told that using the terminology "prego yorkie" conveyed a cavalier attitude about breeding. Yet she's continued to use it again in this thread. That to me supports the theory that this whole thing was an "in your face" type of posting. |
