| Here I go again Round Two Sadie will not eat, Temp is a steady 98.3 for the past two days and my mentor just checked her eyes and said they are dialated. Still no panting but she has been hiding and digging. The puppies are moving more than ever, I have posted a video on my facebook if anyone is interested. She is more swollen than usual and very nervous. I have all the supplies ready and I am still cutting up old towels for rags, as my mentor told me we will need a lot of these. Just an update to let everyone know where we are today. |

| This time she's about right on schedule. The pups would now be full term. Try to keep her calm and relaxed as best you can. If you're nervous, she'll pick up on it so it's important for you to stay calm, too. I always just sit with my girls, gently pet them and talk with them....tell them what pretty girls they are....just anything to take the edge off their excitement. I usually put on a little soft music, too, but that's just me. Best of luck and hopefully this time's a go!

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Yay....it's puppy time! Try to keep everything calm and quiet for her. If you have little ones explain to them that they need to be quiet so that Sadie can rest. Keep other animal out of the whelpiong area as well, so that she doen't feel that there is a threat to the expecting babies. Hope for the best !

For what's it's worth I used potty pads...clean up was much faster and easier than rags (IMO) Plus it was easy to simply slide a dirty one out from under her and replace with another quickly. The potty pads were on soft bedding in her whelping box. Laid a potty pad beside the box to set the placenta's on, etc. No muss, no fuss.

| UPDATE: Was up all night with Sadie and no progress, took her to the vet first thing this morning, she gave her a shot to induce labor and sent her home with me. We have three healthy, beautiful puppies. Two boys and a girl |

| Is Miss Sadie, your baby, doing okay? I am so happy that her puppies are okay.
