| "blue" baby born yesterday...questions!!! Hi...I posted in another forum and was told that the breeders section may better answer my questions! Yesterday, we had a litter of ONE pup. He is what appears to be a blue baby. He is silvery gray/ red paws and face. He is very fat and healthy and is doing great. Does anyone have experiences with these pups? Ive read they can have skin/hair problems forever...but then again, Ive read some are perfectly normal. I just need some positive reassuring!! He is precious and I just want the best for him!! Here is a pic of the baby...(Both parents are AKC reg...the male belongs to me and is my world...the female is not mine) if pic does not open, they are in my album...thanks so much!! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ctureid=104607 |

| He sure is cute, looks like a tiny baby seal. I have read bits and pieces of info about blue born pups, and like you mentioned some indicate potential health problems. I don't know much though, but maybe if you do a search on this forum for blue born you'll see some of the old discussions about this. Good luck.

| Yes, I have found a few and read them.. They were very helpful. I would love to hear from someone who may have raised a blue born and found out their outcome!! |

| I will definately keep pics posted...I am just stressed about him! Hes doing really well, eating good and moving around! he looks so perfect, its hard to imagine he may have so many problems later! He weighed 4 oz yesterday...about what his daddy weighed when he was born. I hope he is one of the lucky ones, and grows up to be a healthy, happy baby!! |

| Like my husband always says don't stress about what you can't control...just LOVE him....and take it one day at a time! He might be perfectly healthy! Then you will have stressed for nothing!
