What are the differences bewteen American yorkie and European yorkie?

Small yorkies are very popular in China.Chinese people call it South-Korean style yorkie because many small yorkies have been imported from South-korea.
My quesion focus on show quality yorkie,not pet quality.

Most yorkies I have seen here on YT have the same nose as the yorkies here in the UK but when you look at many breeder websites (usually not good breeders) they all seem to have really short noses.
Yorkies are not as popular in the UK as they seem to be in the US which is why I think there is a larger market for them over there, and when you get the larger market you will always get people wanting the smallest yorkie/designer dog or whatever.
We get it over here too but more with Chi's and Pug's.

Nowaday yorkies from Uk yorkie kennel looks as same as those yorkies before,the topknot also are old stlye. Why do not follow the change?

This is the first time I heard of "Yorkie Rose",though I know there are differences about the colour of the yorkie's coat between American yorkies and European yorkies,could you explain why it is called "Yorkie Rose"?

I grew up in England & I notice this too. English family members yorkies have a definately terrier look to them compared to many "babydoll" short nosed faces I see on pups here. I personally prefer the terrier face...prolly cos it brings back fond memories of taking family yorkies, (Scampy, Hector, Tammy, Tina & Penny), to the park for hours & watching them chase squirrels.

I wouldn't take this as a fact, Rizzo is European and, while his head isn't solid gold (he is still young) he doesn't have any black on his head at all. Nor did his parents or siblings, nor have I seen many at all in my travels around Europe that had black markings on their head...
Now I don't go around investigating everyone's yorkies, but they are a popular breed around Europe and they are easy to spot, even in a crowd of dogs Just saying, I don't think the color markings differ from Europe to America, and that off standard breeding will result in off standard color markings which could result in black markings on adult yorkies. JMO.

I have 3 Hungarian. My boy is 3 pounds. My girls are 5.14 and 7 pounds. I really don't see any difference in them and my American. My avatar is of my boy. My girls I bought because they are taller and longer. I like that for breeding.
