| from reading the first post Op says the other "2 litters' they had over the past 6 years were healthy ... Anyways, brucellosis as mentioned is a possibility. Also the virus that cause unexplained abortion of the puppies just about 2 weeks prior the due date should be considered , the same virus that may cause "fading puppy syndrome" can also cause abortions of otherwise perfect litters. No explanation to how it is transmitted , not that i have found anyways. The female may deliver a perfect healthy litter afterwords as she will develop immunity . Unfortunatelly that is nothing one can do if it is indeed the virus. Someone else mentioned the rise on Brucellosis... well, we are seeing more and more BYB cutting corners and lots of people taking chances ... people laugh when i say dogs can get STD's ... not everyone is as informed as we are here on YT . Anyways, look into that virus possibility, it may explain the situation. XOXO

| I did reread also...if they have had two litters in the past 6 yrs without problems...wouldn't that make them in the 8 yr range..? If they were bred at a year and again at the next heat that is at least 7..maybe older... |

| No their were two litters before (one per female in the last 6 years). She spays them at 6 years of age. That would mean they had approximatley 2 litters each. I forgot how specifically detailed one must be on this forum and still sometimes get misunderstood. She spays them and since they have been trained to visit the nursing homes, they go to the elderly usually. I saw about 6 posts on the age. Sorry that is not the issue. Thank you for the other helpful replies. The bruc. test was negative. The viral/bacterial swabs came back negative. He has already been neutered and rehomed now and the females were spayed last week as they were going to be anyway after their 2 litters. Guess I'll never know but I'm going to read up on the Canada article. Thank you. |

| You are right, details are the most important thing. I wish the breeder a better future... |

Where the thread is suddnely bombarded with attacks on a poster and then immediately closed before the poster has the oportunity to explain or defend themselves. If the thread is closeddue to the attacks, then all of those posts should be deleted when the thread is closed. It is very frustrating to be accused of things that are untrue and then have the thread closed before you can defend yourself. And then not be allowed to open a new thread to defend yourself. And there are all of those false accusations for everyone to read and no opportunity to clear your name. My point being, when a thread gets closed, all accusing posts that the accused has not had the opportunity to respond to, should be deleted. | |

| The OP had several posts on that thread all of which could have been or were used to explain herself. She could always talk to admin or mod privately about it and see what they say. They do the best they can.

| My advise stop the breeding and have the mom checked for any health issues. You look at that picture and can't tell what it is. ? ( It's a premature puppy) I feel sick and sad for the mom and pups

Personally, I have an issue with anyone coming to YT to broker or gather numerous puppies then having posts like the one that started this thread.
