Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I use a plastic rubbermaid container from walmart, I like it because is enclosed but leaves me full access by removing the top to help my bitch, also with the cover on is a nice cozy den feel for her and the puppies. also I like the fact that I can wash it with bleach and water to keep germs at bay. I breed silky terriers and find that this whelping box works best for me and my breed. hugs, CArmen in nj Whelping box |

| Thanks for the reply! I bet that is really easy to clean also. Where do you put the puppies once they get more mobile? |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I use a little pen to keep them in, and when they outgrow that I replace the whelping box with a training crate to get them use to the crate in a bigger pen by the time they go home they are potty trained and crate trained.. hugs, carmen in nj |

| If I may ask what is the green flooring you have underneath? Cute little walls, are those used for guine pigs? |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | the green mat is what is called a whelping mat, I got it a few years back, and yes the little pen is a ginea pig pen attached to the sides of the whelping box. when they grow more I use a puppy pen. hugs, Carmen in nj |
