| Help, my puppy won't eat My female had 1 puppy on 11-1-05. Everything seemed to be going fine, last night I noticed puppy was not eating so I got her latched on. The mother has milk. She would not eat again at all last night. I took her to the vet first thing this a.m. He said she didn't have a good sucking response. I am feeding her with a syringe some formula and am getting some down her. Also some glucose the vet gave me. He said she was dehydrated and isn't sure she will make it. This is our first puppy(and our last). She weighs about 3 oz. Does this sound familiar to anyone. No cleft palate. |
