YT Addict | Looking for reputable breeder with male We are looking for a reputable florida breeder with a male to be ready in late november, early december. Can someone point me in the right direction? I have already emailed most of the breeders from the YTCA site and have not heard back yet. Thank you |

Keep in mind these breeders do not breed for the purpose of selling puppies, so they don't breed often. They breed first themselves, in hopes to produce their next Champion to their breeding program. That being said, they do have a waiting list. Oh! FYI they don't place puppies during the holiday season.

If they do not have anything available they may know another breeder who does. Just be sure to know and buy your breeder first. Good luck! | |

| Sorry! But, being a YTCA member I do know how most of them operate. We learn from the same page.

| We have a wonderful 3 yr old male to place...neutered and housetrained. His owner has had a change of home situation and needs to find a good home. He is 6 pounds, champion sired, but that means nothing since he is neutred..silk coat, non-aggressive, loves kids and other dogs. PM if interested. |

| Championed sired at times can mean someone payed a good stud fee, but, it Pat's case, the dam and the sire would indicate the breeding.

| I guess I should not have said being champion sired meant nothing...he is simply a pet and a very pretty boy with an underbite...rats!!! |

YT Addict | Search over Thank you all for your replies. Fortunately I have had excellent responses from the caring members of YTCA's breeder list with initial responses through email. You see we recently lost our 14 yr. old darling to complications from renal failure. We did have to go out of state to find our little boy but after speaking with the breeder over the phone and knowing she is a member of the YTCA we feel comfortable in knowing we will be getting a wonderfully sound and stable baby boy. Thank you all again. It's nice to know that there are breeders who consider sharing with loving, caring pet homes. I realize they do not breed often which is why we must go out of state but it is worth it to us for the health and well being of our newest family member. We will pick him up ~ we do not believe in shipping. |

YT Addict | Hello ~ Thank you all for your responses. Actually I had wonderful luck with email and received several kind responses. After searching and speaking with a wonderful YTCA breeder in Texas we have found our baby boy and will be picking him up in late November. We recently lost our 14 yr. old darling and the love of my life, Gizmo. We tried everything to save him when he was diagnosed with renal failure and his numbers were excellent at his passing but he was diagnosed just after his 14th birthday with a neurological disorder that the neurologist said was a tumor. it has been devastating for us. At times both of us are inconsolable as this was not that long ago. We are looking forward to our new baby after some more time has passed. We are responsible, loving, compassionate Yorkshire Terrier lovers ~ after Gizzy we could never think of having another breed ~ and we are grateful that we have found a compassionate, loving breeder willing to share her family with us. I did not realize how difficult it would be to find a responsible breeder who would do that. Thank you all again for your kindness.
