| Wisconsin Breeders Hi! I'm new here. Just want to introduce myself before I launch into questions right away My name is Kelly and I live in Wisconsin. I was first introduced to yorkies a couple years ago by my father-in-law's parents. She was a little yorkie named "Maggie". I just fell in love her right away. I have since wanted to get one and for the past couple months, have been seriously looking into the breed. I've now decided that I just HAVE to get a yorkie pal. Anyway, as I said, I'm from Wisconsin. There's only a couple breeders in my area (I don't want to fly to other states or drive excessive distances). I found a breeder in Lena (ohpuppylove.com). Has anyone had any experience with this breeder? How about Lynette's Yorkies in Cedarburg, WI? Anyone have any experience with them? I myself have not been able to find any negative reports on either breeder, but maybe someone here has some information I may not have access to. Thanks in advance for any replies! |

| I checked both sites and the big red flag is the 'teacup' issue. Check search here for teacup info. Guarantees are for replacement pups only and do not cover hernias??? ohpuppy love is a broker/breeder, It's addressed in the contract and Lynettes does not insist on spay /neuter in contract. High price for just pet quality on both. Check www.YTCA.org and www.AKC.org for breeders in your area and the site www.buyingapuppy.com for questions to ask before purchasing a pup. Try to be patient and wait for a good pup from a reputable breeder. Best of luck in your search! and welcome to YT! |
