I really think you are making a wise decision. My gut tells me that since this chick clearly didn't think through all the time and responsibilities that come with a dog, then she likely didn't think through and really research the breeder either.

Also wanted to second what another member said. That there are good and bad breeders everywhere, even on YT. It's not uncommon for members/breeders here, who often have questionable ethics and come to YT ONLY to sell pups, to contact new members privately with offers of dogs for sale. Please be wary of any questionable offers you have, either from people here or elsewhere.

And if in doubt, ask.

The lack of information and sketchy details could also mean that she is a puppy broker. I too would say you pass. Possibly even suggest that she call a yorkie rescue to surrender the little guy. As others previously have said~be sure to check out ALL breeders whether YT or elsewhere. Good luck with your search for a new puppy.

The first thing I thought of after seeing the first picture was it's a Silky or at least part Silky...but what do I know...Just my first thought.

wow, that's actually what 2 of my friends who own silkies said. def is possible. well i emailed her tonight and declined so that is that. the search continues

i'd agree with the silky theory (but o've only seen a handful in person as they arent very common over here).
