What are the most famous breeders?
 
i'm looking for imformation about famous yorkshire terrier breeders in America and other countries.
Could you mention some of them?

Osman Sameja (Ozmilion Yorkshire Terriers) in England was a well known breeder, don't know if he still breeds.

When I was looking for a Yorkie last year I was looking for a Durrer line, but not sure how famous it is here, it is a Canadian line.

I am sure the breeders and those that show in here will have better info for you:)

Definately Ozmillion, Millmoor, I can think of lots of famous breeders from way back-Buranthea's, Johnstounburn, Wildweir, Blairsville-really only because of Royal Seal, Beechrise-not so good on modern ones!

They may not be world famous, but there are several outstanding show breeders that post here on this forum and offer solid advice for those willing to listen,.

It takes a lot to become a legend such as those that I've named. These people have produced hundreds of Champions, consistently bred great dogs.

There are reputable, good breeders, these are great breeders, it takes a long time to be a "great" breeder.

Great is not what I strive for. As long as I leave the breed better than I found it, that'll make me happy.

But, in the dog world. The word great is held by only a handful; Those that have left a big mark in the dog world. Breeding consistenly, healthy, wonderful representations of the breed. Breeding Champions and those dogs producing Champions. Being involved in every aspect of the breed, exhibiting, research, health, legislature, mentoring, the list goes on and on.

LOL. but truly great people never say they are. Others say that. They live, breathe, sweat blood and tears for the betterment of their chosen goal, be it art, literature, building, exploring, or breeding dogs.

You've got a year on me. But, testy is also allowed. Yesterday was my day....I was short tempered, didn't mince words....Poor Nancy1999 was my sounding board.

But I bet you felt a lot better after you used Nancy as a sounding board, and she probably didn't mind. If you can't use a friend as a sounding board, who can you use? Sometimes it is good to let off steam:)

I haven't seen/heard tails before. It's a name that could be said without the secondary word.
