| Normal Weight at 3 days old? Black - 152 grams Green - 150 grams Red - 148 grams Blue - 112 grams I always see them eating, I started weighing them in ounches and did not see them going up any(they did not go down either). So I started weighing them in grams. How often should I weigh them? About how much should they gain each day? They latch onto Mom and suck |

| Puppy weights vary depending on their birth weight. Newborn yorkie pups can weigh anywhere from 1 1/2 oz to 8 oz. I think the average size of most yorkies pups is around 4 to 6 oz. The most important thing is that that are gaining and eating well. As long as they are not crying and fussing then I don't think you have much to worry about. If you want to weigh them then I would think once a day would be okay. |

| On the average a pup doubles their weight in a week. However, that is an average.....you should not concern yourself unless a pup is not gaining or losing weight. Some gain at different intervals, an once a day, some a 1/2 once.
