| ![]() How is your little girl today? Did your vet think tube feeding for a few days would be a bad idea? You hang in there and hopefully she'll slow down enough to get her proper nourishment. |

| ![]() I would tube feed her, slowly...plus I would give her half the amount and wait an hour and give the other half. Tubing is quite easy once you do it a few times. My vet made a mark of the tubing with a marker, then you know how far to insert the tube. I was afraid I would poke through the stomach or not get it far enough. When the tube goes in the stomach, it feels like it is going to stop, like there is something blocking it.. so you know by the feel it is the stomach...going into the lung there is no hestiation and it glides in too easy and you know it is in the wrong place. I am sure a vet tech would help you out the first few times and not need the vets time. Best wishes |
