| Am I ready? Okay, we are coming toward the end of Day 58 and I have gathered the following supplies: -whelping area, including whelping box, "cat privacy tent" that I found at walmart and fits well around the box for privacy once the pups are here -puppy pads to line the whelping area with during whelping -gloves, hibicleanse (surgical hand-disinfecting soap), rubbing alcohol -suction bulb, surgical scissors (and toddler scissors), metal and nylon hemostats, plain dental floss -thermometer and vaseline, temperature chart to record -ingredients and recipes for beef liver remedy, whelping pudding, and replacement milk for those pups who won't nurse, and tiny pet nursing bottle -Nutri-drops and Oral Cal Plus -baby wipes and neosporin -different colored ribbon to identify pups, weight chart for pups -list of warning signs, precautions, etc -mentor's phone number in case I need help -a helper to assist me during whelping -electric teapot to warm water, white hand towels -the vet is ten minutes away Anything else you can think that I should get? Also, when should I make the whelping pudding and milk replacement? Can it last in the fridge for six days if necessary? I have attached before and after photos of Layla. |

| Yeah, we got an X-Ray on Day 49 but it didn't show much. He counted three but I feel like there will be more. I was planning on calling my vet when she started to show signs of labor just so he knows, in case we need to pop in. |
