| Can I give Maya a bath while she is in heat? I hope its not a stupid question, but I was wondering if I can give her a bath and clean her private area now? I would assume I shouldnt use soap, but just to wash it with water? Thanks! |

| Not a stupid question. Yes, you can. I personally use antibacterial soap.

| Not a stupid question at all. In my personal experience, bathing them during their season keeps the males more at bay at dog shows. They don't REEK in heat! lol However, if you're breeding her, I suggest not bathing... the smell entices the boys! (yuck!) |
