I can see where it is possible that not all of the employees have the updated information.

Personally I don't believe the employee that said it is an option that they can trun on and off.

I was online when I received Zane's email and I immediately went to try and register my parti girl. I guess he and I were both on AKC's site at the right time!

What the heck, I just heard about this thread and went back on my AKC online and sure enough the choice for parti is now gone. All the pups that I put into the system yesterday as parti under the markings still show as being parti color but when I try to put another pup into the online system it tell me no options under markings.

Guess they were just teasing us, we all had one day to register without sending in photos. I sure hope that it comes back.

Well I guess the joke is on us. But maybe it's a good thing that they require photos.

Well, not sure how it is a good thing? As many parti's as their are out their now I am sure it is a big pain for them to have photos coming in all the time.

No photos are required for blue and tan or black and tan and it is a lot easier to tell the color a parti will be as an adult.

I have had to call AKC before and talk to the color specialist to fix a registration before that I sent in photos with. On two other occasions they completely lost the registration paperwork when it was sent in with photos and I had to get new paperwork (and pay AKC for the duplicates of course) . I make copies of everything before sending it now.

I was thinking more along the line of keeping just anything from being registered as parti yorkies.
