People are so hard up on cash that they "invest" in a $1500 dog, whether it's purebred or "designer" and then breed them so that they can have little walking dollar signs. If a momma dog has let's say 4 pups, that's $1500 investment back plus $4500 profit. Sounds awesome right? WRONG! The same people who think they can get $4500 back on a dog they purchased (cause you know they are not family members) seem to ignore the fact that they're not the only ones suffering. A lot of people I've seen say they want the experience, or just the one pup, or something similar but then are quick to turn around and sell their puppies with no contract, no spay/neuter clause, no gaurantee so the process starts all over again. |
