...cause i went on another post about yorkie talk and they took something i said and posted it and bashed it i didn't mean what they thought i mean keeping a pup no harm in that...meaning there is breeders out there that do it for the money or whatever i don't bashed them and they keep somepups here and there that's there business and a lot of them after breeding they get rid of there female which i get too attached and can't but again that is there business i was just getting so hurt and scared for chloe cause i came on here to calm my nerves not peak them when she gives birth and some ppl have been very helpful about have a facecloth and blunt scissors which i ddin't know and have ready...but i need to calm my nerves when the big day comes not get themin overdrive and it was maggie that started it in another post

Lol, that's exactly the way I feel, when I know more than an "experienced breeder" there's a real problem!

I really feel badly for you breeders who give advice day in and day out, I know many of you are really breeding for the right reasons and truly love the breed. To have to answer question from people who obviously don't have clue one, must be so tiring, however I'm so thankful that you do answer them, otherwise, the unknowledgeable would be answering the unknowledgeable! :eek: I've seen that happen a few times and it's not pretty.

Reputable breeders are not into breeding for profit they do not get rid of their females when they are done breeding they find them the best homes possible. You really ought to go back over your posts and correct them if you think they were taken the wrong way. Oh and if the maggie you are referring to was me then please copy and paste the post where I supposedly started all this. The only thread I started even remotely having anything to do with you was this one and it was never directed solely at you.

Did you or did you not make that statement? Why would you get upset over something that you yourself posted?

And just for the record, any breeder that came here stating that they bred simply for profit would probably not get a warm reception or praise either. There is little IF ANY profit to be had IF one is breeding responsibly.

Lori I know exactly how you feel about this...I have not posted for quite some time because of these issues...

A "BREEDER" is a "BREEDER" with the first mating of their dogs...Be it the first time, an accidental time or any other time...It is a "BREEDERS" choice if they want to be an educated "BREEDER" or uneducated "BREEDER"...Your Momma & her litter depend on you so this is important decision!...For Heaven's sake I don't understand why some of these "BREEDERS" do not pick up a book and start reading...Absorb all the information you can so at least you can learn all you can to assure the saftey of your dogs!...And NEVER stop learning!

Right now Friday is possibly pregnant and I am going back over all my previous notes from past whelpings, advice from countless breeders, my mentors, books I have, stuff saved online. Heck I am even looking up more stuff just in case there is something I have no info on. Never stop learning.

Good for you. I get angrier by the day. These people that think that breeding is just like playing with dolls. Professing that they love their dogs, but think nothing of putting them in harms way.
