| Digging in the dirt? Over the last 3-4 days Juliet has been digging A LOT out in the backyard. We started monitoring her temp Friday, and no change as of yet. Is this normal? I mean, I've read that when she goes into labor it is, but what about prior to any signs of labor at all? She's making me crazy bringing in mud on her feet and then gets muddy paw prints on everything. I washed her bed and blanket yesterday...wasted effort, as it's muddied up again! Ahh!! Thoughts?

| Some females will look for a place to have their pups a few days in advance and start digging. If she were mine I would not let her outside unsupervised. If you take her out on a leash then you can monitor her more closely and you won't have to worry about her digging. |
