I guess its like sizes, no matter how carefull you are about choosing a dog for your bitch theres always something off standard cropping up. In the 5 litters I bred, 11 pups in total I always used girls within the breed standard and dogs who had been shown. But still in one litter, both boys, one pup was over standard in size and had semi-irrect ears yet his sire was from a long line of champions and was a winner himself. |
Sometimes an ear or two might need tape for a few days...but I doubt many here have to tape for months like a Dobie or Dane breeder...I see nothing wrong with a week or so of taping if need be, doesn't mean the line is flawed with flop ears..all the tape and glue in the world will not make a genetically flopped ear stand. |
