I think I would call around and speak to the vets on the phone and tell them the problem. It's silly wasting you time on making appointments, and being told no. I'm sure you will find many willing to do the procedure.

Thank you very much! My hubby thinks I am crazy for this, but I just have this feeling like if I dont get her spayed now, something bad will happen!

Doc well versed in dealing with wee ones.....

And you are right....I wouldn't wait....something bad can most likely happen. Even for those that very experienced in whelping yorkie litters (but, we wouldn't have bred one this small) this would be something that would cause a lot of worry.....

Oh by the way Monolo's Mom does use this same vet.....and had her little tiny altered by Doc.....she was using another vet. After recommending her to Dr. Hawthorne....on her first visit switched all her dogs over to him.

You don't usually need an appointment with doc. But, I'm sure that he'll want to see her the day before, to run blood tests. Talk to you, calm your fears....allow you to ask all the questions you want.......and he'll answer them, without making you feel like your stupid or nuts.

Mary I was thinking it was you that knew this doctor, but I wasn't certain. I've heard so many great things about him that I'm tempted to move to TX just for him.

I absolutely adore Doc......he's so spot on.....I do miss him, but whenever I'm in town....I go visit.

Just curious. My hubby just asked how we know for sure she is pregnant... Are there any ways to know? None of the vets I have taken her to have run any tests so how do you know? She was supposedly tied on the 11th, 13th, and 14th of this month... How would I know? She had a littler before so her nipples already pertrude....
