Audrey: 3 is a great number for a yorkie litter; good chances of the pups being not to big and not to small. Halle's trio all weighed right around 5 ounces at birth.

peachbongi: Did you vet say anything about the size of the pup as far as whelping goes? Halle had a singleton her first litter. He was a whopping 6 3/4 ounces when he was born, but Halle (normal weight about 6 1/2-7 lbs) whelped him with no problems thankfully. I hope Tink's has a trouble free whelp too!

He said the pup looked more like a 45 day pup vs a 52 day pup. He said she shouldn't have any problems. He didn't give me the x-ray but i got to look at it. (His bed side manner is a little strange) I don't mind not having it. But he did give me the option for a second if I wanted to be sure there was only one for next week.

Oh, and if this means anything to anyone, he said the pup had not fully mineralized yet. So that is why the xray was so faint and the pup looked less than 45 days.

We had a singleton last time also. I will be praying for a fast and safe whelp.:)

Tayah is a week away from whelping and is almost 8lbs. She is eating great and enjoying some one on one time with mom ;) Here is todays belly picture...You can see where one of her little ones is trying to show off :)

Tayah finally had her pups early this morning!! I will post in the nursery soon!!! Tayah has 3 girls and 1 boy!!:D

My little Jazz is due April 23-28. Today she is not eating, has been throwing up and her temperature is down. I suspect she is in the very early stages of labor.
Congrats to all the other pups and moms, Tayah and Juliet.

Congrats to Tanyah and Juliet! I thought Tanyah was having 3? Wow 7 for Juliet!

Just to give you guys an update of Precious. Precious and the pups are doing great! The pups are a week and half old. They are growing like weeds. The gain roughly an ounce every 3 days. The male and larger female are 7 ounces and some change. And the smaller female is just under 7 ounces. I cant wait for their eyes to open!

It does sound like she's on the verge of going into labor. Sending (((((good vibes))))) for a safe whelp. Keep us posted!

Thanks for the good wishes. Today Jazz is much back to herself, so I am beginning to think she just had a bit of a tummy upset yesterday. She is eating a little today and much perkier, so I think we have a few days to go yet.
