My little girl is also due in April.... she has 6 days to go. This is mine and her first litter. I love watching the pups move I giglgle everytime. I have some pics posted in my album. She goes on Thursday for her xray. I am about to go to the store and get my whelping supplies and the xpen. Anyone have any suggestions of things I may not have thought of that I will need. I have or will get a heating pad, booger snatcher (the thing to use on little kids to clean their noses), therometer, nutrical, shave and blunt scissors, dental floss, xpen, plenty of bedding, whelping box, ...I am also thinking of ordering a digial scale to weight the pups......Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Melissa that would be cheating if I told!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!:D Her right is a tiny bit bigger but she is almost even. When she lays down she lays on her left side most of the time. I think she has figured out that when she lays on her tummy it is not very comfy!!! She will lay down and roll over to her side. LOL!!! We will know Monday at 9am :) |

I live in Florida. Is there anyone close to me (Florida, GA, Alabama) that will have a litter in April, May or June? I am looking to add a little girl to our home. I would prefer a 5-6lb puppy. Thank you. |
I'm guessing 4 for Tayah! Rose, how exciting that you are having 3 puppies this time! I can imagine it's far less stressful than hearing that she only has one mammoth puppy in there, ha ha. Congrats! Any day now, right? |
Im in NC.....precious is 5.5 lbs and her stud jasper is 5lbs. Precious is due the 12th but is starting to show signs of labor. |
Well we took Tayah in and we saw 3. I forgot my camera and had to use my cell. Picture is not good at all!!! BUT......we saw 3 very clear on x-ray!!!!! :):):) 2 weeks to go!!!!!! |

What a silly girl you are, not being able to wait just a few more days for your xray, but also I completely understand your exctement. Must have been the excitement that made you forget your camera; thank goodness that most cell phones have cameras in them. Agreed, it's not the best, but it's something. Precious xray. So I got the xray done today. She is having 3 pups. I heard those terrible words though. One of the pups is too big, one of the other ones is border line and the 3rd is good delivery size. But because of the 2 fattys her c-section is scheduled for Monday. I keep trying to attach pics of the xray but it keeps yelling at me saying y files are too big |
oh yea I forgot to add that the vet took her temp and it was 101. So I think Precious was just changing her body temp to get more attention from me either that or my therometer is jacked up. |

Precious Her pre-preg weight is 5 lbs. Well Monday is her due date also....the vet wanted to make it as close to her due date as possible. But just in case she goes this weekend they signed the xray out to me so the emergency vet has something to go off of. Im so nervous though if she goes into labor b4 monday...cause I dont wanted to take any chances with Precious and the pups health by letting her try it naturally. You want to hear some awsome news.....my hubby just told me if I really want another yorkie I can get one....I so this summer or so I will start lookin for an AKC male....3.5lbs would be great and I love the blue and tan...so once the wleping and new babies get a little older I will start my looking. Of course I wouldnt get another until the pups were in the new homes and Precious was back to her normal self. |

We're getting closer................maybe Well of course we're getting closer............Halle's first due date is today! :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork .......and I think our timing is right on track. Yesterday evening Halle seemed a tiny bit restless leaving her place on the couch to wander the bedrooms, nesting a little and resting for short periods in a couple of the doggie beds, before returning to the couch with me for the rest of the evening. She and I claimed the master bedroom to ourselves for the night and at around 3:15am, she whined a little so I brought her on the bed with me. She laid at my side tossing & turning now & then, and breathing a little harder than normal at times until we got up about an hour ago. Still no visible signs of contractions or labor, but her temp is low this morning and she wouldn't touch her breakfast except to nose it away; so seems like it could be any time now! Prayers & good wishes will be appreciated! Got my good friend Renee (rbelland) coming over to keep us company and help out if and when things start to happen. Yay!:D |
Excellent!! Now I have something exciting to look forward to today! |
